We’re excited to see the new residential development taking shape, delivering 38 affordable homes in St Martin. The scheme includes a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, with private gardens, resident parking, new pedestrian and vehicle access, and landscaped communal and public open spaces.
The design continues to respond sensitively to its surroundings. Positioned on the edge of the built-up Five Oaks area, the development sits between the existing Les Cinq Chenes estate and the rural character of La Rue des Friquettes, while also neighbouring newer commercial development along La Grande Route de St Martin, including the Co-op Five Oaks.
The layout carefully balances building scale, clusters of homes, and landscape screening, creating a soft transition between the residential neighbourhood and the surrounding countryside.
