Delivering Next-Generation Radiology in a Live Hospital Environment

The remodelling of an existing theatre at Jersey General Hospital has been successfully completed to create a new Radiology Interventional Suite. The project focused on adapting the existing space to accommodate specialist imaging equipment, including the installation of lead-lined wall systems to support X-ray use.

Works also included the integration of a new ventilation system designed to meet the environmental requirements of an interventional suite, alongside upgrades to building services and finishes.

Delivered within a live hospital environment, the project forms part of a wider programme of radiology improvements, including the earlier installation of a new fluoroscopy imaging system.
