Jersey General Hospital – CT Scanner – Nearing Completion

Works on the Jersey General Hospital’s new CT scanner extension are nearing completion next week. Works have involved the construction of a pre-fabricated unit off island which was recently shipped and craned into position. The provision of a second scanner was to initially to provide resilience back up to the main scanner, however, its use will be with immediate effect.

The completion of the Rozel Ward refurbishment works is also imminent which will allow 13no beds to be available once again. The hospital site is an essential part of Jersey’s infrastructure and the completion of these projects are crucial to assist with the latest current COVID 19 crisis . Morris Architects continue to support Jersey as a designated essential contractor continuing the work at the

hospital.
