Winning Project of the Year over £10m for the third year in a row fills us with immense pride!

Edinburgh House – Project of the Year over £10m - Jersey Construction Council Awards 2024

Morris Architects were the Architects, lead designers and contract administrators for delivering this prestigious development for Andium Homes.

Edinburgh House, formerly known as La Collette Low Rise on Green Street, St Helier, provides 147 new life long homes for Andium Homes and was constructed by Dandara Jersey Limited. This mixed-use development features 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units, and is intended for social accommodation purposes.

The project included several enabling works projects to relocate the new Oxygen Therapy Centre to Oak Tree Gardens and the creation of a new electrical substation, to replace the existing redundant stations below the existing buildings before they were demolished.

The site also posed a number of logistical issues to address, including the topography and buried brick formations and involved a complex piling and basement construction programme.

Overall, the completion of the Edinburgh House project by Morris Architects and Dandara Jersey Limited showcases a successful collaboration in delivering quality social accommodation while overcoming various construction challenges.
