New Adult Mental Health Day Centre
We are delighted to announce that planning permission has been successfully secured for a new Adult Mental Health Day Centre in Jersey.
The project will see the sensitive refurbishment of an existing listed building, together with carefully considered new development, to create a modern, accessible facility that will provide vital support services for adults experiencing mental health challenges.
Designed to promote wellbeing, inclusion and dignity, the centre will provide a welcoming environment for service users, staff and visitors, with spaces tailored to therapeutic activities, support services, social interaction and community engagement.
The scheme has been developed through close collaboration with the client, specialist consultants and stakeholders, ensuring that the needs of users are balanced with the preservation of the site's historic character and architectural significance.
We are proud to have played a role in helping bring forward a project that will deliver meaningful social value for the Island and contribute positively to the health and wellbeing of the local community.
With planning approval now secured, we look forward to supporting the next stages of the project as it progresses towards construction.
